Shirt - H&M
White Jeans - Topshop via Depop (similar)
Vest Top - ASOS (similar)
Sandals - Birkenstocks

"Why are you wearing pyjamas?" - Emily (my cousin). Despite the fact that it may look like I've just rolled out of bed, I love this shirt. It's just so comfy and easy to chuck on with almost anything - potentially why I received the pyjama comment.
The white jeans were one of my last purchases before I discovered I'm basically broke. But trying them on with various combinations from my wardrobe I can tell they were a good call as they go with so much. I pretty much live in black jeans so it is a bit of a shock to the system, but a good kinda shock. I'm debating ripping a hole in the other knee, but I can't quite decide yet - forever indecisive.
I know they're super ugly, but Birkenstocks are perfect for me as my feet are so wide so I often find it difficult finding shoes that fit me properly, but these sandals fit like a glove. I may have jumped the gun a little, whacking out the sandals at the end of March, but I'm going on holiday in a few days so I'm just a bit overexcited, okay?
Note: when this post goes live I will actually be on holiday, eek!

CURRENT OBSESSION | Homeware Pieces

Blue and White Bowls - Sainsbury's // Grey Curly Cushion - Wilkinson's // White Lamp - IKEA //  Glass Lantern Candle - Primark // Pink Blanket - Tesco // 'Morning Sunshine' Mug - Primark

Ever since starting uni, and especially since signing for our house for second year (eek!), I've become more and more obsessed with homeware items. Wether it be soft bedroom and living room furnishings, little nicknacks or even kitchen wear, I can't get enough of it. These are some recent finds for my uni room at the moment and for (very early) preparation for September when we move in to our new house!

The little blue bowls are actually the same as some my mum has at home, when I came home from uni for a visit recently she'd bought me some of my own. They're a perfect size for putting crisps or nibbles in so I don't overdo it and end up eating the whole packet! The little lantern is so cute and a steal at only £1.50 - even though I'm not actually allowed candles in my house this year, or in the new one in September, but shh.

Top - ASOS // Midi Skirt - Urban Outfitters // Shoes - New Look (similar) // Bag - H&M // Rings - Car Boot Sale + Birthday Gift // Nail Varnish - Barry M

Just noticing that the title is sounding a tad like another of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe novels.
Nevertheless, last week I got to do something slightly different from the usual uni routine (and when I say routine, I mean sleeping in, missing more lectures than I'd like to admit and watching a lot of Netflix whilst eating junk food). A while back I finally completed my Duke of Edinburgh Award triad, passing my Gold after a painful 4 days in the Lake District. This week I finally went to St James's Palace to be presented with my certificate in the presence of the Duke himself.
After the ceremony, my mum and I met my dad at the Ham Yard Hotel for afternoon tea. Having previously been to the Charlotte Street Hotel another of the Firmdale hotels, Ham Yard definitely lived up to the expectations!
