Removing my make up is a bit of chore isn't it? Surely no one can deny that. This congregation of products are my current favourites for that boring time at the end of the day where my make up has to be removed. And they do a pretty good job of it I must admit.

Magnitone BareFaced! Cleansing Brush*

*WARNING* I'm a bad blogger. I promised in my original post HERE I'd do a follow up of my thoughts on this brush. I know. I din't. I'm sorry. BUT. I'm here to say that I love it. It cleans my skin so well and has make it so much less lifeless and dull than before. Overall, lots of big shiny stars for this little gadget.

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

Now, I'll be frank. I tried this a couple of times years ago and, weirdly enough, it broke my skin out into loads of small bumpy spots. So that was that. After clearing out my shelf in the bathroom, I found it again and thought I'd give it another chance, life is all about second chances right? And it's going well so far, I love the glowy and fresh feeling it leaves. Plus no weird bumpy spot things. Score.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Toner

I try not to use a toner too often, I feel like it strips my skin too much of those natural oils everyone bangs on about. But if I feel my cleansing hasn't totally rid my face of all make up I'll give this a whirl. It's also a little tag team with the Body Shop Tea Tree Lotion.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Lotion

I have written about this product countless times before, and undoubtedly will write about it countless times in the future. It's my absolute favourite product to keep spots at bay, and I can't see that changing anytime soon. The only thing I've come to realise is my skin definitely benefits from not using it everyday, as it can be quite drying. But other than that, a big big favourite of mine.

Believe it or not, this post isn't sponsored by the Body Shop Tea Tree range, I'm just in love with it!

TRAVEL | Eight Flight Essentials for Your Hand Luggage

skin, skincare, lifestyle, travel, flight, essentials, hand luggage, eye gel, eye mask, Boots, beauty, flight essentials,

At the point this post goes live, I will have endured a 25 hour 25 minute journey consisting of two flights and a 2.5 hour stop over. Believe me, I'm exhausted even at the thought of it. This is the longest journey I will ever have made, plus includes the longest commercial flight in the world, so luckily I'm not a nervous flyer! Of course I am absolutely beyond excited though, but more on that later.

So in lieu of all of this, I thought I'd put together a mini pre-travel guide, my hand luggage essentials with the usual suspects along with some of my favourites, especially for long-haul flights.

EYE GEL
it's like a refreshing burst of refreshing-ness. Absolutely perfect for tired plane-journey eyes

SNACKS
if you're like me, you'll probably find it difficult going longer than 30 minutes without some food source. Curb that hanger

EYE MASK
(excuse the language on mine)
so necessary for a slightly less disturbed sleep, the rude message is probably less necessary.

LIP BALM
although I have a deep long-lasting love affair with Vaseline, it just doesn't quite cut it for the intense dry cracked mess my lips become on a flight, plus it melts. So I opt for thicker, more intense formulas

BOOTS BOTANICALS GLOW BALM
this beauty adds such the best and subtle glow. Plus it's hydrating too

COLLECTION LASTING PERFECTION CONCEALER
because sometimes just the eye gel isn't enough for those under-eye bags.

FACE WIPES
you don't want to have to queue for/squash into a bathroom to remove your make up, so wipes are prefect to freshen up. I swiped these handy little packs from a hotel room bathroom.

A PRETTY TRAVEL DOCUMENTS WALLET
for passports, boarding cards, immigration forms, visas, etc etc etc. I've been dying for one of these for so long and never been able to justify buying one. Hence it's absence from the photo. But the organised-girl inside of me will probably get her way in duty free soon....
